I’m Adam Lutzi Rockwell. I’m a writer and humorist living on the Oregon Coast… although my mother-in-law doesn’t think much of my “humor.”
Most of my essays, fiction and stories are based around my personal experiences, perspectives, and research.
I have four main sections:
Stories - Humorous essays on just about anything. Often my own experiences.
Life On The Oregon Coast- Still often set in humor, but real life in this awesome place.
The Occasional Column (New!) - Observational look at more timely events as well as interviews. M-W-F… sometimes.
Serialized Fiction - I am currently publishing my serialized novel, The Unexpected Exorcist, on Tuesdays and Thursday each week.
I will typically be publishing T, Th, and Saturday or Sunday.
On the weekends I’ll be somewhere up or down the coast looking for agates.
I’m originally from Wisconsin by way of Minneapolis. A few years back I moved to the barren, rugged, Oregon Coast. I really like it here because the weather was made for writing.
Thanks for stopping by,
-Lutzi Rockwell
PS: I love Substack Notes. It’s like Twitter, but fun.
PPS: Views are my own and are not endorsed and do not necessarily reflect the views of Antique Week, The Atlantic or Teen Vogue!
Looking forward to wading through your work. I have also lived on the Oregon coast during the summer session at OIMB down near Coos Bay. The most memorable summer of my college career out at Oregon. Made lifelong friends with wonderful memories to match.
Jaspers are the opaque cousins of agates. Lovely swirly colors and exceptionally smooth, when polished by the sea. I call them “magic pebbles.”
