This was a neat article and thank you for sharing. I will be road tripping Oregon later this summer and have a few things I plan on seeing. Have you been to eastern regions across the state? The Wallowa Mountains for example look amazing. I want to check them out. Thanks for any information!

Thanks for reading Brian! We tend to stick to the east of Bend… The state is so dang big. It doesn’t seem like it should be but it goes and goes.

Ohhhh, tsunami! I don’t EVER want to experience that one!

Yes! Where you are drenched the second you walk outside and yet you are still under a covered walkway? What’s the other?

Light mist, heavy mist, sideways mist, red flag warning, and sea foam alert is what I have so far. And tsunami warning 🫠😆

Thanks CB 😄 I just realized like two more forms of weather I left out because I just got in from heavy mist!!! This will have to be a work in progress 😅

Ok, I get it — you’re trying to scare away potential visitors! I’ve only been to Portland, Eugene and Salem and when we were visiting the latter at night the fog was so dense my husband’s grandmother had to meet us and guide us to her home!

Haha! A little? We still feel like tourists after being here almost two years. The weather is totally different, and that's no joke. But it's warmer in the winter than the valley, and way cooler in the summer... some advantages. My son and I did some DoorDashing in the fog and one guy actually greeted us with a lantern!
